Please review the attached letter from the Holomua AOUO's attorney, Christopher Goodwin, Esq., regarding Act 326 and reporting requirements for operators of transient accommodations. If you fall within the definition of an "operator", please complete the attached Reporting Form and submit it to Jim.
The February 2014 Board meeting will be held on February 11, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the 7th Floor Activity Room.
The first board meeting of 2014 will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the 7th Floor Activity Room. Please join the fun if you can!
The November Board of Directors meeting is scheduled to take place next week Tuesday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the 7th Floor Activity Room. If you've had a chance to review the 2014 budget (which has been posted to the website) and have any questions/concerns, this will be a great time to voice them.
For those who are interested, the budget for 2014 has been posted to the "Documents" page under the "Board of Directors Meeting" section.
Guards from Phoenix Security Hawaii started patrolling the grounds on October 1. The phone number to their 24-hour dispatch is 988-7077. If you call the dispatch, they will contact the guard on duty. If there isn't a guard on duty then they will send someone over to the building, if necessary, or they will take your information and pass it along to an emergency responder (i.e. police, fire, EMT). Phoenix will also contact Jim to let him know of the call.
On September 29, 2013, three vehicles on the 4th and 5th floors were broken into some time between 6-8 a.m. The thief attempted to break into another car on the 4th floor, but failed.
To help prevent other vehicles from being broken into, please remember to do the following:
1. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle. If you do, keep them hidden and out of plain sight.
2. Report any suspicious activity and/or people to the security guard on duty or to our resident manager, Jim.
3. Remember to lock your vehicle!
The next Board of Directors' meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the 7th Floor Activity Room. Please attend if possible! The Board will be discussing topics such as the lobby furniture, parking garage mirrors and a garage security door.
